After seventeen years of consultations with my GP, Dr L, he asked me if I had ever had a Glucose Tolerance Test. I had to remind him that he had sent me for three GTTs and that all had returned “mild reactive hypoglycemia” but no diabetes. I also reminded him that I have a blood glucose meter and that my blood glucose is well within normal levels at all times, except when I do a GTT.
