I’ve just been to see my GP, Dr L, about the intermittent pain that I’ve been getting in my right knee for the last ten or fifteen years. The last xray in 2002 showed what might be a small loose object in the joint. At that time, the followup MRI showed nothing abnormal. He’s sent me off for a new xray.
I also asked him yet again to find me a doctor who could determine the cause of my long-term health problems. So far, everyone I’ve seen just sells their particular “consultation” but I’ve not yet met any doctor with any real problem-solving skills or any desire to use them. He doesn’t hold out much hope of me ever finding the right doctor.
